I too feed the little bird in the backyard and on a second story deck. They are busy buzzing around and drinking from the Koi Pond. We were even blessed with lots of little baby hummingbirds this year.

I love the lil creatures, too. Just came in from having coffee on the deck and saw a few. On the weekends we usually have coffee in the morning and after dinner out there so we can watch them. We have a feeder hanging from the deck railing and one right outside the front door. (can actually watch them from inside when they go to that top one without them even realizing we’re watching them.) In the background is our monster pine tree and small dogwood. Either before coming to the feeder or afterwards they’ll usually go sit in one of them for a while.

We grow mostly flowers and plants that attract hummingbirds and butterflies. Is strange, one of the hummingbirds just goes to the flowers and never touches the feeder while most do both.

Elaine, I’m very sorry that they’re unable to ship this item until July. I checked at the Bradford Exchange site and this product was designed by Ms. Liu exclusively for them and available only from The Bradford Exchange. The reason it probably can’t be shipped until July is due to it being a handcrafted product. I certainly can understand your wanting this product as soon as possible and am very sorry it’s not available until July.

It is a shame I had to cancel an order for your hummingbird jewelry, as Bradford Exchange is the only seller in my area of Pennsylvania. I love your necklace and pierced earrings and have already bought your music box. They could not ship the necklace until July. I had to tell Bradford I am 81 years old and would like to enjoy them now.

We were going to try to grow Agastache Cana from seeds this winter. My husband thinks that it may be similar to the type you have. He thinks he read somewhere that both of them are some type of hummingbird mint. We’re going to try the Cana because we think we found a place that sells the seeds. We were also going to try to buy some porterweed seeds.. Have you ever tried that?
