This picture is of our Porterweed and Cardinal Climber seedlings. We made a post about them back in January and this is our first update. The larger fern like plant is the Cardinal Climber and it took about a week to a week and a half for the seeds to germinate. Those smaller are the Porterweed and it took them almost five weeks or better to start growing. Maybe it shouldn’t have taken that long for the Porterweed seeds. It’s possible we didn’t do it quite the right way. We plan to keep updating the progress on these two plants throughout the season and maybe we can get lucky enough to get a picture with a hummingbird feeding on their flowers.
